I bought a very special bundle of exotic skins, and was waiting for just the right project to use my two favorite.
This glorious handbag's flap is made from pirarucu, a VERY large fish from the Amazon River. Dyed black with accents of purple, it's an incredibly unique material. I like stretching it to see how the scales work! Continuing on the water theme, the gusset is made of shark skin. The remainder of the bag is standard dyed black cow leather, and the whole thing is completely hand sewn. Measuring in at approximately 7"x1.5"x6", it's a small bag that packs quite a punch; it's meant to be carried in the hand or in the crook of your elbow, the strap is not long enough to be a shoulder bag on the car majority of people. It closes with a magnetic snap closure on the flap! This bag would be a wonderful complement to your date night little black dress.
This item is already made and ready to ship - you will receive the exact item pictured. This is a truly one-of-a kind piece, there will never be any other like it.
Wondering why the price is so high for such a small bag? The skins used were about $50 on their own. Exotic leathers cost more, but the result is a product guaranteed to be special!
